Fit toilet seat without instructions

Hi.

Looking for advice on fitting this toilet seat. My attempt didnt work. Presumably there's a way all the bits and pieces are supposed to fit together...

screw the threaded rod into the centre tapping on the hinge.it may need relocating to the other tapping it depends on the pan.

Some toilet pan's have different requirements for attaching seats,if yours has seat fixing holes drilled completely through the pan then your ok,

they sometimes go a bit loose after a while, or mine have.

I added a dab of locktite to the metal/metal thread and a dab of silicone on the rubber parts to stick everything together (lightly)

The fixing bolt can either go in the centre of the fixing or the off centre fixing so one can adjust seat fitting to pan .
