Concrete logcabin base is to large, cabin has been erected and base is to large by 200mm to 400mm in places.

Is there anything that I can use to cut the concrete down to size of cabin? Dont have margin for error as cabin is already up.

How thick is the base? Angle grinder is traditional for cutting concrete. Makes a lot of dust though.
You can hire a stihl saw with water feed to keep the dust down.

4" - 5" id say, problem is cabin is up already and stihl saw looks like it wont get close enough? concrete is raised few inched out of ground, could I cut sideways in then chip bits away?

Photo would help, maybe you'll have to improvise. Would stitch drilling help?

Thats the shortest edge of concrete down one side its around 400mm, would prefer the water to run off and not on concrete.

If it's about water run off perhaps you could dig out a little and cut diagonally upwards to allow runoff?

Did you do this your self or get a company in to do it?
Have you got a dpc under your sole plate?

Thought about this also, just presumed if I'm going to cut away lets try and go straight down is possible.

It's bad detailing, water might run down your walls and then under your sole plates.
How large is the over hang on the roof?

Yeh I see how this will happen, overhang might just make it a little better not rained yet but due tomorrow so I will see. Hence wanting cut concrete back.

It should have been cut when the cabin base was being layed out. You may be best off grinding it down at this point to put a bevel on it, cutting will be very difficult and stitch drilling will ruin the edges of the slab and possible send cracks into it. It will be slow dusty work with a grinding cup on a 9'' grinder but a long morning would probably sort it.

Yeh, I understand it should of been done first. But what tool would do this well? I dont mind if it takes me all day let alone a morning. If I can keep as much water off as poss for next 10 years i'll be happy.

Get a diamond grinding cup that goes on a normal anglke grinder like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Latinaric-...00370203&sr=1-2&keywords=diamond+grinding+cup

The one linked to is just as an example I dont know what the quality is like.

I can highly recommend the macrist HF850C which is what i have but they are expensive for a one off job.

I doubt its the sort of thing you can hire but you should be able to hire a hand held concrete planer/ edger.
