Painting floor tiles

I have layed some floor tiles in my bathroom a while ago and now I've decided I don't like the colour that I chose.

Does anyone know if it's possible to buy while floor tile paint that is waterproof so that I can use in on my bathroom floor? I don't mind if I have to order it specially online from somewhere!

Never heard of such product but there is always ways round things. But this does not gaurantee that any route will work (longterm). What type of floor tiles are they ? Are they shiny or matt ?

The tiles are matt and have a slight abrasive surface as they're supposed to be safe for wet areas.

Would that make it easier?

my 2p

painting any floor tile means through foot traffic the paint will get worn off (may take time) then you will have to strip all paint off to repaint to look same all over.

if paint is "wrong type" it may not adhere properly

if paint is too "shiny" bring a bowling ball

and seeing as these are "non slip" tiles it probably said on the box do not paint these tiles, probably becuse it will make them slippery.

how about wearing colored glasses so the tiles look a differnt colour, or tell every one you lost a bet and thats why you have them, or they are the same as Mr Steveie wonders tiles

Well there is such a thing as floor paint, but I guess if it isn't designed for the purpose there's no point in trying it if it's bound to fail eventually.

You could try Zamix Coverseal for adhesion to the tiles. Then apply an Floor Paint on-top of the Zamix Coverseal. This is no gaurantee that it will work longterm. Also, i have even applied a two-tone woodgrain on my bathroom floor. The floor is wooden strips. After graining the floor i applied an water based laquer. That was 3 years ago and the floor still lokks great. So what i am saying is there is always ways round things but there is no gaurantee.

There are paints available but the are specialist epoxy resin types...normally applied by specialist companies..

And will cost you an arm and a leg..Heather Mc Carthney had some done apparently

i was goin to paint my floor tiles in my new kitchen to cut down costs but alot of people told me it doesnt work
