Popped round to my mum and dad's place yesterday, appears that was a mistake! I get the "oh I'm glad you're here"...
They have damp appearing on the same exterior wall in the front room and bedroom (bungalow).
First pic is the patch in the living room. Second pic is the bedroom wall the other side. You can see the radiator pipes that feed the one in the first pic. Then there's the pic of the hopper and downpipe outside.
Today I popped back round and my theory was that there could be a problem at the flat roof by the hopper. Well, a stuck tennis ball had completely blocked the hopper so in was a big pool of water in there.
My thinking is that this was allowing water to get under the lead and get into the cavity and drip down and create the damp inside.
Would appreciate your thoughts as to if you reckon that is the problem?
