Minimum door frame size

I am looking at fitting another door in my hallway, i am trying to match the oak doors i have and can only get one in a 32" width, 35mm thick. I have a width of 36 5/8", what would be a minimum size for a door frame, ideally i would use a 3"PSE which would be 2 3/4" planed, if i could get a 30" door it would be good but am struggling.

the trouble you have is planed timber is 0nly 18-21mm thick your door furniture will probably be number 7 screws you recess the hinge in 2mm giving 16mm for the screw to grip so not enough to grip
you may get away with 25mm but this is not a stock size[remember any planed timber marked as 1" or 25 mm is preworked stock size coming out 4-7mm smaller after planing]
another option is to add timber at the hinges and locks
indeed you will get away without added timber lock side if your careful but not hinge side

seems strange 30" is pretty much the std door width

I know but the door is a white oak, 4 panel, glazed with raised beading on it, height is 2032mm although i may need to put a standard 1981mm door and then get the correct width door as that is available in 30".
Another option maybe to take some off the 32" door, does anyone know how much veneer is removable, i have 10mm in my head but not sure.

sometimes 5-6 sometimes 10-12 but more likely 5-6 but without reading the blurb no way off telling
