Threaded pipe and cap sticking out of kitchen floor, any ideas what it might be?

Hi all.

I have had a central heating leak so I need to rejig the radiator layout. I will possibly need to dig up some concrete in the kitchen to lay new pipes.

The bit I wanted to dig up I've spotted a nut sticking out of the floor. Obviously I don't want to get stuck in until I know what it is.

Any ideas what it might be, just based on looks? You can just make out a threaded pipe at the bottom of the third picture. I am concerned it might be gas but it's odd as the feed for the cooker is on the other side of the room, no idea why there would be something here.
If not, who would you recommend to get in to look at this?

It's Gas - there are many gas points in some houses, I have one by the chimney, one for the cooker, + one in the hall and one under the wooden kitchen floor You need a Gas Safe Registered installer.

Looks like a gas carcass to me.
