Honeywell Galaxy Flex

There's no firmware upgrade, only a PCB swap out I'm afraid. Can't you use part set for night ?

I can actually use full set - my second keypad is sited upstairs and the night set seemed to suit because it appeared to silence all those beeps. Maybe there is a way I can achieve this - I notice in menu 58,4 and 5 there is a way of turning off the lights and muting the keypad and maybe I use a fob.
The problem is when my granddaughter stays, she will be in bed when I set the alarm and I don't want to wake her - but want to be woken if there is an alarm.

Use silent part set. Manual extract below. You can re-program the 'B' key (58.2.2) to perform silent part set (17).

----------------------------------------
Silent Part [17]
Selecting this option sets all zones that have the
part attribute enabled. It starts a normal
timed exit procedure but exit sounders are not activated.
In the event of an alarm occurring
during a Silent Part set (e.g. fire alarm), normal
operation will be re-instated.
When group mode is enabled (option[63.1]),
no other group setting options are affected.
Note:
Zones must be closed to allow the system to silent
set. If any zones are open, then the Exit Time
Reset feature (detailed previously) is activated.
Unsetting results in a double beep.

1, The system is using data from the SIM card every two hours. I need this to stop.
2, The system is sending me text on average once a day "Fault Line Fail Com5". I need this to stop but want to know about other issues that may arise.

Issue #2 is a bug in the panel firmware. Honeywell have made significant improvements to handle weak GSM signals which are typically reported as "Fault Line Fail Com5". This fix was introduced in V3.39, release notes enclosed.

Changes between V3.38 and V3.39:
###################################
Flex:
- Support for Flex and Flex+ V3.39 panels
- GSM/GPRS Weak Signal and Weak Signal Delay, GSM Fault Restore
- Weak Signal event
