External IP CCTV camera suggestions

Are there any wireless external IP cameras that can be plugged into a high level external socket (sort of at floodlight sensor height) which can also record onto a built in SD card which does not then require me to have some sort of dedicated CCTV hub but just connect remotely?

If an external high level socket is not practical, how do people install these wireless IP camera (assuming it is not POE)?

Take cable thru wall to connect internally.

I have concealed wild life cams in the garden, runs for ages on batteries alone.

But do any of them have the ability to insert a SD or other memory card directly into an external camera?

Most of the cheap Chinese ones on eBay match your described spec set.. look for foscam clones and buy a few to assess how well they work. I'm doing he same, as I haven't found any reliable reviews of the variations so just gotta suck it n see.

Look for cameras that support onvif, then they should link up easily to software like netcamstudio(not an endorsement) and the recording can be done by a pc. You'll probably find cameras that are onvif and memory card

I have a Motorola camera internal designed to monitor pets while at work, I use it to keep an eye on mother, it uses a central hub called Hubble so that you can view it without needing a static IP address, and this is where it falls down, it has all sorts that you can set up with a fee like recording every time moment is detected but the Hubble hub goes down all too often. So it is not that good.

I also have a traffic cam which can be set at one frame per minute that uses a mini SD card but you would need to assess daily as set to one frame a minute it does not over write, set to standard speed it will over write but then a 8 mb card has about 1/2 hour only.

I seem to remember you can get SD cards which are WiFi or Bluetooth I know people fit them into DSLR cameras to send pictures to newspapers as the take them. So maybe that is want you need?
