Im on the last row of flooring and and have a board that needs to slot under the door frame like this

The problem ive got is that where the board slots under the door, it stops me from lifting the board to get the angle to click it in with the second from last board

Anyone got some ideas to get the last board in?

I cant fit this board first and lay the boards across the room in the opposite direction as ive would have a similar problem at the other side with an undercut fire hearth

Something that I have done in the past is increase the height of the undercut on the door frame just enough to allow me to angle and click the boards together.

Id then glue the peice of door frame back in place and make good with filler/paint as required.
Just wondering if there are any other ideas out there that allow the flooring to fit under the frame neatly

No idea from me, just have to make the board smaller so it can pivot by the frame. Then you can seal the gap with something flexible.
Another trick to get one side at a time is to have a join in the door piece then tap that piece along, then fit the other side and tap it back slightly

Thew "trick" is the same as for fitting the last row against a wall.
The locking lip has to be pared off. (Not the whole tongue but just the "lip" on it.) Exactly which bit can vary with the manufacturer, but the idea is to enable the last row to be pushed against the wall, and then pulled back into the groove of the adjacent row. A tool is available to pull it. The joint is secured by glue.
A Stanley knife and trip to A&E will normally achieve the desired modification.
The door jambs are only a slight complication as they do need some thought about cutting the final row so that it slides under enough but allows it to be slid back into the joint.
A bit of thought and practice makes it clearer.

Adjust the last row so you have join thru doorway , one side can then be slid under doorframe for the other trim off just enough lip to slide in from centre of door and add a touch of wood glue before final position is located.
