I'm Assembling new kitchen base units and wall units , now l have to fit the doors and draw fronts but with these units l have no marking pre drilled on the units they only have the recess holes for the hinges on the doors.
Can some advanced diy or kitchen fitter tell me how to get the holes drilled in the right place on the units and draw fronts so they are all at the correct height and in line .. Thanks

Your hinges should be in two parts, one drops into the recess on the door, and the other part fits into the pre-drilled holes in the carcase. If there are no pre-drilled holes in the carcase, then they're faulty. The drawer fronts never have any hole as all handles are different, but B&Q sell a template that lets you line them up quickly on multiple fronts.

Post some pictures though.

Not all manufacturers predrill the hinge holes they just leave a small indent in the position it need to be instead then you drill it yourself on site

I've yet to see a carcase that didn't have the holes pre-drilled for the Hinges, as their set out is quite critical. Now some manufacturers will set a mark on the doors for the screws that hold that part of the hinge, but a lot don't.

Most hinges plates for concealed hinges with 35mm dia door holes are the same drlling pattern:

37mm back and each plate has 2 screws 16mm either side of the centreline (which be taken from the door)
