Electrician cost

Hi

I wonder if anybody could give me a rough idea on how much the following might cost me.

Replace the wiring to all the lights including wiring to light switches. in an upstairs 2 bedroom flat.

:5 rooms
3 rooms with spotlights. Kitchen x4 hallway x8 Bathroom x4
Other 2 rooms normal pendant lights.

Replacing a fusebox with new one.

It depends if there's access from above ....is there a loft above ? If not and its another flat it could be awkward and might involve a lot of making good by plasters !

I would do it for £3000 and I even put a thistle Plaster coating over the holes made.

Are the walls plasterboard ie hollow or brick?

Do you have a loft?

Remember it's the labour and time for electricians. I know where the cables go it's getting the ****ers where you want them that takes time.

You can have loads of jokes, but not one of us has seen the job, so no you can't have a rough idea. Get 3 quotes, and ask the guys who are going to do the job what it'll cost.
