Im going to be purchasing this very soon and have a few questions..

1. Is this a DIY friendly product as Ive saw on here a few people struggling to
Set it up
2. People are saying something about a engineer code? What is this? And do I need somone to come out ?
3. The speaker you said, I believe your talking about the interal speaker?

Internal speaker, yes.
Engineer code, details should be in the supplied manual. All alarms have them.
DIY friendly, Should be. It's by far not the hardest to set up and install, far from it, however it is also reasuringly decent to install, meaning that it isn't a DIY system.
