Connecting the Waste Pipe on Miele Tumble Dryer

The waste pipe on this tumble dryer is especially small diameter. No problem as it comes with an adapter which you put into the compression fitting - see this video;

However; what do you do if you have an existing washing machine waste hose and you need to connect two hoses? I don't have room to connect two drain spouts one after the other and will have to use some kind of tee arrangement.

Any help wold be really appreciated.

Thanks very much for the input. To be clear then Dan; are you saying that you have used one of these with a Miele dryer and are sure that the yellow adapter thing fits in the pace of one of the spouts?

No I haven't tried it. I have two standpipes.
