Hi,

Just received a Netatmo wireless thermostat and relay.

My old controller is the Rematic RF.

So now I need to wire in gone new controller, but I’m having trouble matching the four cables to the PCB.

Please can someone set me straight on this?

Thermostat terminals and cable colours - black and grey to go to any of the ones below:
Ls/la
Ta
COM /NO

Power supply terminals - blue and brown to go to any of the ones below:
P/N
L/N

Thanks!

You will need to refer to the boiler installation manual for exact details...mine are all from memory.

Essentially the thermostat shorts a pair of wires together when it is calling for heat, so these two wires need to be connected to the terminals on the boiler that need to be shorted to create a heat demand.

I don't understand your terminals' nomenclature, but if you're asking such basic questions as "where do the blue and brown wires go" I suggest you get professional help with this....getting it wrong can be dangerous and expensive, with the pcb costing over £200.

Hi Rich,
I had the same problem with avanta plus 39c and found the answer on the netatmo forum at the following link:

Ensure that terminal block X9 and X2 are as per the picture (see below)

Would love to take credit for this but answer was posted by alpsem on the link above.
