Hi Everyone,

First time poster, hopefully looking for some help with my Valiant Eco Tec Pro boiler, which after 7 years of service has started making a strange noise when turned on. The pressure seems fine and the boiler works, it’s just omitting a strange sound that you can see from the video:

Have checked the FAQ but not seen my question in there, but grateful for any help or insight the community can offer!

Thanks very much for your reply - I’ll turn off the boiler and take off the case to check the fan

The fan is a part of the combustion chamber so it might not be accessible without opening that up with all the checks it entails.

Easy fix divertor valve needs replacing, as bypass rattles need a gas Engineer to sort though hope this helps
