Hi all,

Having done a bit of research I am thinking about doing my ensuite shower room with Schulter Kerdi Board onto the studs before tiling (100x200 porcelain). Trying to find a supplier in the UK and they seem to be pretty few and far between.

Is Kerdi Board not that popular in the UK? Is there an alternative that people tend to use more over here? When I did my shower over bath I tanked the walls with the BAL WP1 kit but given this shower will be getting a lot more use I wasn't sure if WP1 would be up to the job.

Cheers,
Bert

kerdi is available from professional tile suppliers for the trade an publicbut heres the number for them, 1530813396. try not to use sheds.
thers lots of cheaper backer boards that do the job for walls an floors.
im traditional and dont like or use liquid tanking when i do tiling but your only doing a small area with a medium size tile.
so, i would use a basic backer board for walls and floor.
use powdered adhesive whichever wayyou choose.
