Kitchen electrics - illuminated switches question

Just by the way, why illuminated switches? Personally I only like illuminated for things that I don't normally leave switched on all the time. So for example in our kitchen the immersion switch is illuminated, the isolator switches for central heating, dishwasher and water supply are not. And it bugs me a bit that the cooker switch is illuminated.

Personally I find functional switches all over the place for every item unnecessary and definitely aesthetically undesirable.
Not a problem with lollipops
It was I.

You wouldn't tell John what you meant, so, perhaps you would tell me what relevance the circuit design has -

OR

what you think a lollipop is in this context.

deleted in view of the usual insults, why don't you people go and find a 12 year old to bully, you might succeed in getting them to commit suicide, that would be proud moment for you all.
