The pipe to my radiator valve is twisted and now that I am replacing the radiator I would also like to replace this part of the pipe.

As you can see from the picture the pipe is attached to a 90 degree bend which is placed below the chipboard giving me limited access.

Are there any tools I could use to remove it from the bend since my spanner doesn't have enough space to turn down there.

That elbow below floor looks like its soldered ,but pic isn't very clear . anyway if you want to do anything below chipboard you will need to cut a section of the board out if you can't get access from below .

Thanks I was wondering if it was soldered since I had trouble finding any sort of nut to unscrew. Will just have to get some power tools to cut out a larger section of the chipboard since I am in a ground floor flat.

What is other side of the wall ? Room ,or hallway that may have an access panel already in the floor ?

There is a cupboard but I lifted up the carpet and there is simply more chipboard with no sign of an access panel.

Can you properly drain the water to below that level? This "little" job can turn out as something else.

TBH, with your self evident lack of experience, you are heading for a world of pain.

Either leave alone or get a plumber in.

No disrespect intended
