2 gang light switch

Hello

I have an existing light switch wired like this (labelled existing).

The new switch looks quite different. Have I got the right idea about how the new one (labelled new) should be wired?

Thanks. What is the yellow wire going to the second L1. I couldn't see that in any the books I have.

I should have said, this is to control two lights, one outdoor and one in the porch. There are no other switches for these lights.

You must be switching two separate lights. (Red and Yellow in the top cable)

The yellow is the Switched Live that supplies power to the lamp controlled by that switch when that switch is ON.
