Thanks for your help. Seems I don't qualify for the scheme because I'm not in receipt of any benefits :(
Call them I don't receive any benefits, its not a government scheme its a RHI payment scheme so unless your house wont meet the EPC I cant see why they wouldn't do it.

Did you get anywhere with them in the end?

No, there was never any answer when I called and they didn’t respond to my online enquiry.

I’ve bought an ex-display E-Compact pellet boiler since anyway which has only ran for around 1000 hours. My plan is to install it myself as my autumn project this year - need to build an out-house for it first over the summer!

There will be questions in the plumbing section when I get closer to designing the system!
 
All sounds interesting.

There's is a large 17 century house in Monmouth who's owners I was talking to, who have put wood chip boilers in, huge installation, paid up front, but getting grand money the covers the cost of all the fuel.

But really interesting to hear about domestic sized installations. Let me know how it goes.

Careful if you want the RHI as they insist on installation by MCS Certified Installers see below.
MCS certification: Your renewable heating product must be certified under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), or equivalent5 . The installation of your renewable heating product must also have an MCS Certificate and have been installed by an MCS certified installer.
