How to disassemble a Bosch GBH 36V-EC Compact Drill.

Just wondered if anyone knows how to get this drill apart.
I have removed all the screws in the body but there are 2 hidden behind the chuck collar the you pull back to release the drill bit.
The only option I can see is to cut a piece out of the collar to get to them.
Or does the chuck come off to allow access.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The exploded diagram shows the chuck has a cover plate (44) hiding a retaining ring (74) that holds the chuck in place.
Look at the front of your chuck as it should have a cover plate that you can prise off?

Hadn't seen this earlier, not sure if it was because I was on mobile or what but it now makes more sense what you're asking.

Looking at the exploded drawing of your drill my guess would be to pull out the rubber bumper on the end of the chuck, item 44. This should then make the locking ring, item 87, visible.

I'd imagine this will be a circlip locking ring and normally to remove them you need the appropriate pliers:

If you don't have any or can't find any you might be able to do it with flat blade screw drivers and a lot of patience. Once that clip is removed my guess would then be that the outer sleeve will slide off allowing access to the scews holding the chuck/gearbox body into the housing.

On closer inspection you may not have to remove the circlip and removal of the rubber bumper might just be enough to remove the outer release sleeve.

i would personally gently open gradually from the back evenly towards the front 5mm at a time to see if frees it up but dont force it
aahh ok looking at sammyinnits diagram they are definately interconnected as the the front screw fixings are in front off the blank side handle ring on the casing

Got it now, thanks.
Pull back the collar and prise the rubber off with a screwdriver.
