Diverter valve

Got water leaking from diverted valve I think. anyone any idea on what’s parts are needed. Is there a common part that goes on these. Only been installed 3 years thank you regards david

There aren't any universal shower valves I'm afraid - each brand has its own type. You need to know the make & model of the shower in order to obtain spares, and if you're unfortunate enough to have purchased some imported unbranded rubbish I'm afraid you'll be looking at taking the whole shower valve out of the wall and replacing it entirely
 
Often the way sadly - people spend thousands getting a bathroom redone, skimp on a cheap shower valve, then discover 3 years later that spares aren't available and end up having to rip their nice sparkly Multipanel off the wall again to replace the valve. A cheap valve becomes an expensive lesson in why recognised brands are the best option
