Dear All,

My upstairs bathroom has electric underfloor heating that was installed under tiles.

Before laying the underfloor heating the tiler installed some boards on top of the existing floorboards. I have attached a photo.

I am sure these ligh green boards have some sort of insulating properties, the question I have is are these boards aimed specifically at underfloor heating??

Cheers

They LOOK like regular underfloor heating insulation boards.
But that's only a guess.
But I wonder why you are asking us, surely you just need to pick up the phone to your tiler?
Happy Easter

Thank you Taylor for giving your time and offering some help. I was asking here as I didn't want to disturb the tiler on Easter Sunday!

Happy Easter to you too!

From picture looks like foam cored tile backer boards which have fiberglass reinforcement on the surface. Available in different thicknesses.

Can be used as insulation for floors, but can also be used to board walls. My wetroom walls are constructed from them.

ah ha, I think that rings a bell Taylor, I believe the tiler may have mentioned Wedi
