Make sure you’ve fitted them at the specified height and also try setting the jumper link to “Hi”.

Also leave the rooms clear of movement for 5mins before testing to overcome the sleep timer.

thanks the pyronix leaflet says 2.1m.. (basically top of door frame height) seems pretty low to me? my old ones used to be in ceiling corner!

Were your old ones pet immune? And did they work?

The pet immune ones basically ignore things below a cirtain hight along with heat mass therefore if your move the sensor higher then the pet free area rises too, which means a person could walk under its range without triggering it.

I’ve been to a few of these where they don’t work as they have been fitted in the ceiling corner, once moved to the correct hight they work fine.

Thx no they weren't.. I checked the height on site and it says from 1.8m-2.4m for ceiling.. mine is dot on 2.4m.. one thing.. I took out the inner sensor cover (looks removable) seems to work better.. not sure if it's a good idea thou... Nothing in write up about it.

Try cutting out the top plastic "bar" in the pet filter. It does improve the detection rate somewhat, but they still leave a lot to be desired IMO. If you put the panel into walk test, the LED should light up with every activation for testing purposes.
