The function of each of the Drayton LP722 programmer terminals can be identified from the following diagram:

The wires should be moved from the LP722 to the terminals at the Nest Heatlink that have the same function.

For example:

'HW off' (if present) goes to Heatlink 'Hot Water Satisfied'
'HW on' goes to Heatlink 'Hot Water 'Call for Heat'
'CH on' goes to Heatlink 'Heating Call for Heat'

The Heatlink 'Common' terminals 2 and 5 will need linking to L. (You can see from the diagram above, that these 'links' exist in the Drayton, but are made internally)

That leaves the RTS1 thermostat.

It cannot simply be disconnected as the heating wiring would be left 'open circuit' and the heating will not operate. Here, you have some options: (Option 3 would be the most professional)

1. Leave the existing room thermostat in place. Remove the wires from 'L' and '3' and join them together in a separate connector that you can tuck away in the corner of it.

2. Remove the existing thermostat and replace it with a junction box. Connect the wires that came from 'L' and '3' together and isolate the neutral.

3. Find the origin of the thermostat cable. Note where the wires going to 'L' and '3' are connected and disconnect the cable, including the neutral. Then link the terminals where the wires going to 'L' and '3' previously originated from.
