I Fancy One Of These...

I have dropped several into toilets! All survived.

One came out a bit pooey, but on the advice that it had already had a swim and another dip would not hurt, I stuck it in a bucket of bleachy water!

The originals are unfckuable.
A plumber friend dropped his off a roof onto concrete hardstanding.
Apart from a little crack on the (replaceable) case, it was A1.

I've got the 6100. Had it almost 11 years, but it wasn't new when I got it. Only one new battery in all that time. Haven't given it a drop test from several storeys yet, but it survives the occasional drop on the floor. I phones just complicate life.

Only if you let them.

If you find it handy to be able to check an email on the hoof or look up something on the internet, they are great.

But if you are glued to unsociable media all the time, notifying the world of your every bodily emission, then that is bad.

I bought the Xiaomi 5ic last year and if this new one is anything like it will be good. Apparently they are the fastest growing phone company and they still don't sell in the USA.

Smart phones are very handy it's just a pity that every time the phone updates it's deliberately slowed down until eventually the fuker iis about as useful as a paperweight. Reason ? They want you to buy a new one.

I just swapped my iPhone 6 for a Huawei P20. Pretty good so far. It's got very good reviews

Hawk, that argument is broken!

A new phone is often up to date, WRT software, whether that is OS or UI.

I have a Sony Experia Z1 or something. It makes and receives calls, sends and receives text messages and has a camera in case of someone causing an accident whilst out.

I probably also have a better bank balance then a lot of people who pay out large sums of money every time a new phone comes out.
