Where to buy a composite door with fitting - recommendations please

Hi

Any recommendations on where to buy a new composite door including installation (Coventry area).

There are loads of places online but a lot seem to use the same design software on their website so would appear to be selling the same product.

We want a stable type door and ideally installed before June as the house is being rendered then. Most quotes are coming in at £1500 to £1800.

Any recommendations please?

Local company's with recommendations from friends/family, Ask around on Facebook.

For a stable door your probably looking at Solidor or Force 8. It might also be worth checking there website for local installers.
These makes are a few hundred more than other makes to start with and a stable door adds about £250 to that. Basically what I'm saying is stable doors basically are around £400-500 more than other makes that don't do stable doors.

Prices vary by area and make but you should be able to get it done for around £1200-1350

Thanks Gazman. It's useful to have a price point to work to. Solidor seem to be the most popular and there is a local firm that installs them.

Solidor Beeston stable door Grey slab with white frame. £1390 + vat. That's what we would charge give or take.

I really should put my prices up lol. Just sent out a contract for a flint 1 with bullseye glass, In chartwell green (door and slab) with architectural knocker. I will be doing it for £1330inc Vat
Mind I am kind of a 1 man band with low overheads
