hi folks, my 8x6 shed roof is well and truly goosed.....felt, plywood, the lot.

What cost effective replacement would you recommend?

If the rest of the shed is structurally sound, go out and buy the materials to fix your roof. Wickes sell ply and roofing felt but you may have to pay for delivery if you've not a roof rack or van to get the ply home.

Doing it yourself is the only way to keep costs down.

use 11mm osb and heavy duty felt then it will last twice as long

Thank you for your replies.

Would that be better that corrugated sheet?

are you talking plastic or cement based board ??
heavy duty felt will last perhaps ten years

Either to be honest, just considering all options really. Thank you for your help, it is appreciated

the sheets[osb] on the roof give rigidity to the structure
any corrugated material needs more work to make air and water tight because off the shape

1/2" OSB and roofing shingles will give you a top quality roof.
