Repair of a concrete garage floor

Just had new garage doors fitted and there is now a 20mm channel of depth varying from 2mm to 10mm across the width of the garage after which the main concrete base of the floor starts about 20mm higher

No cars will drive over it - just BBQ's and the like.

I don't want anything too fast setting as it's going to be fiddly to get neat across the whole width

Someone suggested floor tile cement to fill the channel but am wondering if others have better ideas.

I'd use sand and cement with a a bit of SBR. Brush the hole with a slurry of SBR and cement then apply the sand and cement.

As above, and if you need a really fine skim then use kiln-dried joint filling sand that is used for block paving.

Bear in mind that SBR will speed up the setting time, so you could dampen then brush on a weak cement slurry instead
