How do I set the notifications on the texecom connect app.

I get like 20 notifications one after the other telling me that eg. "Remote access ended at 19:33 today from your"

All I want is one message if alarm is activated or if tamper/fault.

Also interested in help here, I've started to delve into the config settings in more detail but struggling to find the right fields.

To shut those off you need to use Wintex and a USB-Com to connect to the panel. Give our tech support guys a ring and they can help. Apparently, I’ve been toltd, it can’t be done via the keypad. We’re looking at putting that functionality into the app itself.

I had the same issue when I first set this up. I resolved it by connecting to the panel via Wintex and going to Comms, ARCs, ARC 1 (whichever ARC you have setup for Texecom Connect), then cleared the Maintenance Alarms tick box under Reporting Options. This will suppress all notifications in this category (I believe these are documented under Event Reporting Codes on the same window), including the 'Remote access started\ended' messages. I'd like to be a bit more granular on these but haven't got round to looking into it further yet.

As ever, test to make sure you're still getting all the notifications you need.

You will see in the wintex event log how the event is recorded and you can change these in wintex and reporting codes as drnowt suggests to not reported to stop a specific event coming through.

Jim, it would be great if individual notifications can be turned off in a section in the app, but would like to see it user specific rather than panel wide as is currently the case when using wintex.

so maintenance alarm is one group but each option within that reporting can be selected for a particular user in a check box, so its easily selectable.
Most of my customers (Main/Master users usually want some of the maintenance reporting group, and secondary users usually just alarm notifications and open/closes, and the final group just alarm notifications).

This is what I did,
Using Wintex software, receive the existing config and then go to Comms, Under ARC, uncheck Open/Close (arming/disarming) and uncheck maintenance,, this will allow only Alarm triggers to send notifications .
