Bosch multi tool cable problem

Good evening.

I have a Bosch GOP 250 CE and I’ve noticed that the flex around the ball grommet is breaking up making the tool incorrectly working. I’ve disconnected and removed the flex, cut back and need to reconnect it but there is no label on the terminals to say which is live and neutral, unfortunately I can’t remember which one it is, can anyone help or advise which is the correct one?

(Generalising) Can you look at the terminal block and see which internal wire is heading for the main switch and hence to the motor, Daniel? If its obvious, that will be the positive.

Have you got the offcuts of cable? May be able to tell by how they best fit if you temporarily reposition them.

If not post back and I'll open up mine and tell you.

When I ever take anything apart I always take pictures on my phone, it has saved me many times.
