Is that a direct fit to the base/cradle or will it mean draining the cistern to dismantle?Replace with a fluidmaster

Well Yes & No, Yes easy to change when the parts are easily known and sourced and No if the manufacture changes the design at some point and all manufactures charge more for replacement parts than it costs in the build process.Bases actually look similar but I would expect to replace the whole lot. But do it once and in future its a 5 minute job to stick in a replacement. A very reasonable price too. Really annoys me that most manufacturers charge massively OTT prices for their plastic junk.
