Texecom upgrade Premier to Premier Elite

We've just moved into a house that has a professionally installed Texecom Premier 24. Other than a recent battery fault (which seems like I should be able to sort out) it works well with PIRs in 4 rooms several door entry sensors and 2 fire alarms.

I'm quite taken with the idea of the Texecom Connect SmartCom, but I understand that it will only work on the Elite range. I rang the installer and they quoted nearly £500 for the upgrade.
I've had poke inside my current system and everything seems very clearly labelled.

If If I bought a Premiere Elite 24 cabinet (they seem to be about £70) should it just be a case of transferring all the wiring from the current system across (then the small matter of programming it)?

Awesome thank you! It was all very easy - took about an hour, not bad considering the company who originally installed it quoted £400 to do the same.

I presume you've done all your walk-around tests and mock scenarios to ensure your programming is on point and the alarm acts as predicted.
