ok sorry don’t know how to word the title, my brother has a saunier Duvall themaclassic f35e and it has developed a fault not completing fire up sequence, so I had a look and it has no display to get an error code from (display window blank), so just wondering if anyone does a service plan which would include a fixed price repair of sorts ?

Thanks for the replies, BG would need it working first to go on their service plan, and I know about SD but he got it cheap years ago. Tried calling technical but they don’t do over the phone help for this manufacturer, they also used to do fixed price repairs but that also stopped years ago. As far as I can work out without a display to read the fault codes it’s one of the 3 boards at fault and not willing to spend on a new board to find out its one of the other 2.
Thanks anyway

BG will also do a fixed price repair with a 12 month contract. Not necessarily cheap but you would get a repair, a service and the boiler working for a year.

You could try recondition boards, these are horrible boilers though

Looking at their website it looks to good to be true, and I know about BG prices and £99 down and £23 is hard to believe, take a heat exchanger say £600 roughly and labour to fit ?

I think that tells you all you need to know - it's a boiler which is so awful even its own UK agents aren't interested in trying to fix it. Time to accept that it's given good service, bite the bullet and get a decent replacement boiler I'd say
