Tommy Robinson News - contempt of court

Aren't you?

No.

What concerns me is that some people on this forum are quite happy for there not to be a trial with a jury.

Do the Government think that it is not possible to find 12 members of the public that are intelligent enough to understand the evidence put before them?

That same Government who think that 17+ million voters were to stupid to understand what they were voting for with Brexit.

a trial with a jury.

Do you think that a trial for Contempt of Court should be held in the normal way according to English Law?

Or do you think that repeat offenders should be granted special treatment?

Remind me, did he plead guilty?

Is he now claiming to be innocent?

Or is he quibbling over the sentence?

John you may be misinformed as to the Guilty plea.

I think the Judge at the recent Court appearance, where Robinson was released, severely criticized the way the Judge in the hearing where Robinson was sent down

Main stream media do not give out all of the facts.

Are you saying he didn't plead guilty?

Right wing media gives a distorted view of the facts.

Like Robinson Yaxley Lennon is a convicted thug who is banned from the US?
Yep, once again, totally irrelevant to this upcoming trial. See what I mean about your 'white noise'? Someone commits a crime in the past and you wild eyed lefties use it as an excuse to assume guilt thereafter.

You seem to be suggesting people shouldn't circulate information during or before a trial.

Do you really believe that?

No of course not. I just cannot see the relevance of Yax's past crimes to the current charges being brought. Noseall obviously thinks they are, or he / she wouldn't have posted another one of his one line posts.

I once tore down a poster off of my bedroom wall - so by your and noseall's rationale, you'd naturally think I was guilty if I was in court on those charges.

Not at all. Read the post above.

However, the RWR on here seem to want to worship a convicted thug. My opinion of the RWR that populate this forum is correct.

Tommy Robinson is a symptom and not the cause of the problem just as Jeremy Corbyn is a symptom of the problem.
Instead of slagging off the above, people should be concentrating their minds on discovering why large numbers of the electorate are giving their support to people whom they would not touched with a barge pole 10 years ago.
Extremists only thrive in extreme situations, find out the root cause and cure it and these people will disappear.
