I don't believe you can turn off the supervision never mind turn it off for a specific device and it certainly isn't advisable to turn it off.

one contact in a van isn't much good, as the tin open vans, so wouldn't see the contact opening?

where is the van parked ??

In the drive. Apparently it is something they are looking into. So one day, just not today.

what something like the Premier External TD-W or GJD D-Tect R Detectors, the only problem may be someone coming in who has no intention of breaking into van, cats, dogs, etc. Could one be on a zone then that zone only triggers an internal sounder, so wakes me up but not the neighbours? could put Premier External TD-W
on gate posts then i guess at height above animals, would it work with elite series?

I have a hikvision cctv with line crossing, wonder if i could adapt that so i heard it at night?

yes you could do various options, how would you prefer it work?

you can have it on its own area, don't assign that area to the external siren but assign it to internal speakers/ sirens?

Just looking on wintex, how would i set an area to only use internal siren, are they available for the elite? de select option 9 bell and strobe output for the new area?

how is it currently wired?

ie panel bell terminals are usually used for the external bell assigning the Area the detector is on to these terminals will mean the external bell will sound if connected.

however an output as bell SAB area would only sound the sounder if connected to that area, if you have a speaker, then you can assign the area to the speaker panel speaker, keypad if keypad speaker etc.

you have to decide how you want it to work and make sure its wired up correctly and then programmed correctly.

The only thing wired is the keypad, everything else is wireless, apart from the smartcom. so looking at options 8 and 9 in areas options.

The keypad speaker look in keypad setup for areas its assigned to, if the area isn't assigned to the keypad it wont sound from it however the user would still be able to arm t from the keypad instantly if area assigned to the use code.

the speaker wired to the panels speaker terminals would fire if its in the same area as that detector, as would a wired sounder if wired to the bell terminals and assigned in bell and strobe.

the wireless sounders areas are assigned in zone setup and the areas can be changed there for each wireless bell.
