No different to the politicians wailing and screaming through the houses of parliament - cowards. The same cowards quite happy to send other people's children to war at the swipe of a pen.

It's probably going to cost him his job now. The only thing I can say about it is what if say he had interviend and the Isis bloke had then murdered him too. What a massive coupe that would have been for the Isis organisation. servotech

I thought the same, but weren't there already two armed police within seconds of gunning the murderer down anyway?

We would all like to think that we would jump out of the car, round house the Isis guy in the throat then snap his neck as he fell to the ground.

I reality we don’t know what we would do in that situation.

But then he was a copper so should be much more comfortable in a situation like that compared to your average civilian.

Nobody can say what they would have done, the Amygdala causes us to make very rapid decisions and often it can be to run away. You'd be amazed at the number of "nice", "normal" people who will hit and run on a motoring accident. We all have the benefit of many more facts and time to consider than anyone involved on the day.

Well, he had a driver, so the driver would have locked the doors. The driver would also have been trained how to best protect his client, and would have taken control.
The whole attack took little over a minute. Maybe he wanted to get out and help? Did anybody ask him?

Strange, based on that theory, I should be running this company by now ...
