I need to put this tower together. The wheels have a thread, where do I screw them into? The bits of scaffold just seem to hollow bits. Any tips on assembling all this?

The threaded bar goes into the bottom of the scaffold leg.

The silver tube (with the nut at one end) is for levelling up the scaffold.

That bit just slots into the ends of the tubes.

Ok so gravity keeps the wheels on. How do you build it from there. I mean with the crossbars, the planks. On what stage going up do the diagonal bars go in. I take it in the photo, I've put it together wrong?

depending on how many diagonals you have, you need One every One or Two stages.
Distribute them so they are about equal and ideally from opposite directions time and time about.
only climb INSIDE the tower.

I tend to only use the boards to stand on, so all at the top (4?) although you can have a smaller standing area and use boards as stages for a rest or tools.

Crikey! Slingsby towers.... Haven't seen one of them used commercially for about 20 years. Didn't know they still made them

they are alarmingly wobbly even when put up correctly.
I used one at home to paint my soil stack so it was at maximum height.
It was tied on, but I still took a break when the wind got up.

I am used to big proper towers with internal stairs and ladders but it frightened the crap out of me.
I'd still use mine at home though, just uber carefully

These are them in action. Where exactly would you tie it off to ?
