Horrendous Felt Sound (VIDEO)

Hi

We purchased a new home three years ago and I am having a nightmare with our roof - still. You will see from the below video that our felt make's a terrible sound. Our builders agreed that this was incorrect and stripped the entire roof off and relaid it. Fast forward a new roof, countless visits - they've now decided to walk away from the job.

To say I am disappointing is a understatement and with recent news that we have a wee boy on the way I need to ensure that I can bring him up in a secure unit. Can anyone help at all? I am pretty desperate.

Any info would be gratefully received.

The issue may be at the eaves.

Do you know if this felt is the same one that goes into the gutter or did they cut it back and install either a plastic drip or a reinforced felt?

As said by Mackie the problem is almost certainly being made by the wind at eave level.
If the underlay is going past the bottom course into the gutter then try cutting it back with a sharp knife.
If this stops the noise then you need to look at having underlay support trays fitted.
