I have Informa Dialer with Accenta Mini G4 alarm.
It triggered alarm after false activation due to battery. After reset the dialer stopped working.
After disconnecting the dialer from panel and refitting, it started working again.
My question is - if it triggers the alarm and after the reset, does it mean, I have to disconnect from the panel and relink, it every time or is there something wrong?
Please help.
Thank you.

Shouldn't have to ...unless it's faulty or wired incorrectly ...just try it a few times instead of second guessing !

Diallers are triggered by a condition.

the Dialler would reset when the panel is reset and condition cleared.

so when the alarm is activated, you come in enter your code, the condition flashes up, you accept. reset or arm and disarm your system and the condition is clear usually

the dialler should then be ready for its next signal.

so a hard wired bell triggers for 15 minutes, and then stops, if the dialler is wired to the bell trigger it will be activated once in 15 minutes, after which if the bell is activated again the dialler will be triggered and so on.

Hi, thanks for your response.

The problem I have is the dialler stops working once alarm is triggered and reset.
Do you think, it is caused due not acknowledging the message when the alarm is triggered and message is sent (to 3 people programmed to receive) at least one should acknowledge to stop dialler.

Please let me know what is your opinion.

Thank you.

don't install these diallers, but on some diallers you have the options to how it should respond when triggered.

I will see if I can get hold of a manual now and have a quick look

Okay from the information I just read, it will need acknowledging as set out in the instructions during the call, or by entering your code for the dialler when on site so it can redial.

obviously it makes more sense if you are away for any length of time to reset the dialler before returning home and get someone to check if you have indeed been burgled.

Hi Secureiam,
Many thanks for your views.
Please advise which dialler I should fit as an alternate to Informa.
Many thanks.

Depends on what you want or need it to do, The Pyronix V2 is more flexible and can use a sim card, but it aint cheap and that isn't a recommendation either.
