Motorbike helmet irritating skin

try thrush cream - its possible you have fungus (e.g. athletes foot type stuff) in your helmet infecting your ears. Keep your lid in a dry place and maybe use a shoe sanitiser

Definitely get a new one, try some on in a proper motorcycle shop, you wouldn't wear someones second hand flip flops, would you.

Can't put it any better than anyone else already has, but yeah man, the perfect solution was invented years ago, a balaclava ;)
 
and wear ear plugs - speed over 45mph causes damage to unprotected ears.
