Typical attitude of people that clearly dont run businesses and dont have any idea how much red tape costs.
As I thought JohnD only wants large multinational companies to exist. He doesnt run a small business so he isn't interested in the cost and time implication and its too difficult for him to answer.
It really does seem as if you think that small businesses should not have to protect personal data, ensure that the products they sell are safe, take steps to avoid their employees from being killed or injured, should be free to dump pollution into the environment, and so on.

It really does seem as though you dont want small businesses to exist due to the burden of leglisation.

I didnt realise GDPR had much to with product safety or pollution, clearly you know more about it.

I expect you approve of the EUs love of big business thats feeds it with high paying lobbyists. Big business that use free movement of people to drive the EUs neo liberal agenda.

No - what I want is for society to be protected against all forms of abuse from all sizes of businesses.

What I want is to say to all those who whine that they can't observe these privacy/safety/welfare/environmental/wage level/etc regulations and stay in business "Then go out of business".

It doesn't, but your bleating about "red tape" is applicable to all of those areas, as they also fall under the heading of "red tape", surely?

Are you the only person that runs a business? Every other business has to comply too. It maybe an extra cost, but it is not a cost that affects you and nobody else.

Obviously depends on the business, but it is not that hard to comply in my case.

But it comes back to, do you want your data protected, and have some comeback if you are exploited through a lack of protection of your information? The more the world puts online, the morre the protection is needed.

From the course I have been on, it is all about control of systems, and effective systems in place. Once done it only needs a regular check and update of those systems. It seems no worse than coshh, h&s, risk assessing, ppe provision, loler etc. I am sure you have a long list of regulations and requirements you have to comply with, so you must be used to having systems in place.

Looks like moaning notch is just a habitual grumbler

So you do know, but you just CBA to do it properly.

And you insult everybody by expecting them to read posts which are badly formatted purely and simply because of your laziness and arrogance.
CBA.That will be you being lazy then.

I see on the news today that they are saying that the UK will be better off financially by staying in the EU compared to TM's Brexit plan.

I'd be better off financially getting a bus instead of a taxi, driving a Dacia Sandero instead of a Range Rover, holidaying in Leysdown instead of going on a Caribbean cruise, buying a Timex instead of an Omega, having beans on toast indoors instead of going out for a meal, heating my house with a paraffin heater instead of gas central heating etc etc but you know what? I don't ****ing want to and I'm happy to pay for what I want.

Marginally,he said,IF,,,,then proceeded with a list of caveats.

Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a big television. Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisure wear and matching luggage. Choose a three-piece suit in a range of fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who you are on Sunday morning. Choose sitting on your couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game-shows, stuffing junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, ****ing your last in a miserable home. Choose your future. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got cycle touring?

If you keep sticking your head up your ars, then it will be in your head.

Have you tried head & shoulders?

Why the need for personal comments like that. Make you feel adult ?

Which is ok if you have the money to pay for all of it.

Do you see all our services up to standard, and you are happy to make us worse off ?

Are you insisting that everyone else follows your philosophy?
