Hi all,
Hope someone could give me some advice? Awhile ago on this very helpful diy forum I posted about my sterling 10 house alarm fault and we came to the conclusion it has died, but could anybody suggest a alarm system that I could change it over to but keep the existing bell box, pir’s and door contacts as all the wiring is well hidden? Thanks Jamie

depends on if your wanting a straightest swap or have it capable of certain things.

most hard wired panels are a good swap for hard wired panels. I would seriously consider what is worth salvaging first from your existing panel.

pictures of the sensors may help give more specific advice.

The next question is budgets?

I’m not after anything fancy just an alarm that works really, if the euro mini is a straight swap that sounds good enough for me thanks for replying. All the sensors still light up it just seems like a panel fault from the last thing I posted so fingers crossed a new unit sorts the issue

I fit a lot of Euro Mini's and they are good panels.

Don't waste a second trying to save the Sterling 10 - They're crap
