EPDM on shed walls

Two side of our shed are close to boundary walls which does make it a little difficult to maintain, and Im wondering whether covering them with EPDM would be a good idea. Not worried about the aesthetics of these two walls, just want to ensure they are waterproof. I did also consider using felt tiles would be an option, but think EPDM could be a cheaper and easier option to fit.

My long term plan is to turn the 8x12ft 25mm shiplap shed into a usable room, so plan to insulate the insides. I did consider over-cladding the outside, but this is likely to be costly, and as the construction is solid, as long as I ensure its weatherproofed, it should be fine.

Any reason not to epdm the two walls, or is it just a stupid idea?

Cheers

Fine, rear of my garden storage is covered with reclaimed epdm sheet as it backs onto bushes and is difficult to access.

Thanks! I suppose my only worry was could it make these walls and the shed warmer as they are south facing, and would be like wearing a gimp suit (I would imagine :-p). But then I suppose correctly insulating the inside would negate this problem.
