After installing a new 'waterfall'' type tap onto bathroom basin, which stated on the box minimum pressure 0.2 bar, the water comes out of the tap with excessive pressure.
Instead of coming out at 180 degrees like a standard tap, this one shoots the water out at 90 degrees so when fully turning on the cold water, it splashes large amounts of water beyond the basin & onto the floor.
The hot water tap fully open is fine.
My question is; would it be OK to partially close the isolation valve to the cold water tap behind the sink and would this reduce the pressure to the outlet and prevent this splashing effect when the cold tap is fully open?
