Hi all,

Lifted up the shower former to find this plastic stop on the cold gravity shower supply.
Im going to pump 3 bars through this to the shower valve eventually. will it hold up to that pressure? I think its a Hep2 as the other plastic fittings and pipe are all HEP and I was wanting to keep them also.

Like Dan says, those fitting strained to breaking point underneath would be much more of a concern

Lose the stopend and change those dreadful plastic tails... Strained to feck they are!

as you can see the verdigris on all the soldered joints, that is because excess flux was used when soldering and not wiped clean after, Plastic grab rings absolutely hate that and rot for fun , I would suggest some TLC needed , clean up the pipes and fit proper compression fittings

Compression fittings and then close the wall up ! not the best of ideas.

Hep one end,,JG other end..odd..and as already said,,bit of TLc needed
