Hi I no this is not a quoting site but want to no if it's ok or not
So I have run all the cables myself as the guy did not have time
1 Honeywell Galaxy 2 control panel
1 prox keypad
1 set of keys fobs 4
Heavy duty battery
Outside siren
Internal siren
5 dual tecs
1 front door contact
Reel of 100mm 8 core cable but we no longer need this
6 zones

Op extras
Speech dialer
Broadband filter

150.00 more on top

Total £830.00

As said I'm not asking how much he's earning as everybody had to make a living just want to see if this is a reasonable quote

Would say so if he was doing the first fix ....but a bit steep if your running the cables ...is it an empty building ?

no building was being done up but I have just finished today and someone said it was abit exspensive so wanted to double check

To purchase, install, test and commission for the above system will cost you the sum of £680.00.
Should you wish to have the system signal to yourselves and, providing you have a landline in the house, we would have to add a Menvier Speech dialler with its attachments for a further sum of £150.00. No idea how much the kit costs and there mark up on it.
I don't see why that would be the quote with you running the cables as you wouldn't need the cable...…?

now im really confused
why do I not need the cables?
how will it work if its not wired up? I asked for a wired system not wireless
all single cables got to sensors alarm box ect ect

I think he's saying the price of a drum of 8 core inc in the quote price @ around £20

sorry yes he was going to drop a reel of 8 core off next week but I couldn't be bothered to wait and did it this weekend wanted to get the job done so I could crack on with other jobs in the house

Best to get some other quotes from folk in your Area to gauge going rate for your area.

I am with sparkymarka's original comment if your running the cables it seems a bit high, as to how much depends on how they break it down and how long it will take to fit, there may be other factors we are not aware of, but a local installer might.

Can't say anything about the price but I noticed ADT Siren in the list of components. Is this ADT the company installing?
