Hive installation

I am having trouble with my hive install as I have a wired thermostat with a separate clock and combi boiler...I have joined the two wires in the stat together and isolated the neutral but my heating will not switch on any help would be much appreciated

Check that the hive switch is wired correctly. Do you get a green light when you push the heating button?

Just to rule it out, connect your original stat back up how it was and leave it on max, then try hive. Mine has been like this since I installed it a few years ago!

Is your hub set up and detecting the central heating switch?
 
There's not much to go on in your original post, but here are some suggestions in addition to those mikejt posted:

The Hive receiver could be incorrectly wired. Assuming you have the correct version for a combi, (single channel) there should be wires connected to N, L, 1 (common) & 3 (heating on)

If the existing heating clock is an integral part of the boiler, it needs to be set to be permanently 'on'

If the existing heating clock is external, it should be decommissioned in the same way as the thermostat.
