Fein Multimaster worn out?

I'm a big fan of these, my original 250w model lasted maybe 5 years abuse so in 2015 I bought the 350w version and had been great but now I notice it looses drive when I push it, I don't push it hard but general pressure it doesn't go full stroke left to right.

Am I looking at a new gearbox?

Possibly. It's definitely not the motor giving up? What's replacement parts cost?

£120 I think, are the new ones Starlock only? I still want to use Saxton blades.

Not sure about Fein but I know with Bosch you can buy either the OIS or Starlock units.
