that's the exact same flue as what you have, from memory Baxis need a whole different flue for a plume kit, best to wait for your installer to have a look.

Hi...just to be clear....the photos I put up are of the fittings that Eon put in BUT they did not actually fit the vertical pipe to it....so all I really need is the vertical pipe bit. If that makes it clearer...many thanks

Because..Eon did not put a vertical pipe on when they installed the new boiler...now all the steam from the outlet (without the vertical pipe attached) clouds around the backdoor area...instead of being approx 2ft higher and away from the door.

As said you can't just stick a pipe on the end it's a whole new flue and actually it's not the most straightforward to fit either. It's deffo a job for a registered engineer

Thank you guys.I will now look further into it and once again I will contact the installer to explain and make a complaint as I have no answer from them yet...cheers

When was it fitted? The Solo has been discontinued for quite a while, replaced by the EcoBlue range. The plume management kit is unlikely to still be available

It was fitted 2 yrs ago...I did not know a pipe should have been fitted at the time it was only when a friend told me...so even though it's 2 yrs ago (and I have no knowledge of boilers etc I have contacted the company to put it right...they may argue BUT how was I supposed to know one was needed.
